Riverlands Polo's head coach is Luke O'Leary, a 3 goal professional polo player who has over 12 years experience. Luke gained his experience in coaching and playing by working with some of the best polo players from around the world.
Luke is originally from Toowoomba in Queensland but has traveled all around Australia to advance polo coaching facilities, most recently prior to Riverlands, he developed The Victorian Polo Academy, now based in the Yarra Valley, Victoria.
Luke is never short of some family assistance with the sport of polo; his elder brother, Matt manages Reignwood Polo Club in China and his younger brother, Dan is an up-and-coming 3 goal player just recently picked as the youngest player for the Australian squad.
Luke is responsible for player development at Riverlands Polo including providing coaching and clinic services, livery, pony buying/selling and working individually with clients to help them achieve their polo goals.
In particular, Luke loves seeing new players entering the sport as well as existing polo players improving their polo skills and most importantly, having fun!
